Promolante is here! Smile and Log on to Ghana’s Newest Start up!

In my quest to promote start-ups from Ghana, I decided to feature this new start up this week. Promolante is here to bridge the gab between you and the telcos. Their platform could help you find answers to the questions that have been boggling your mind about the services these telcos in Ghana.

Promolante is a web application to help Ghanaians and residents in Ghana to easily discover and review promotions and services from the telcos.

Promotions have become a great marketing tool for telcos in Ghana and at the same time many Ghanaians are using the services of more than one Telecom Company.

This means that there are some difficulties for Ghanaians to track or stay updated with the promos and services that the telcos offer.

So this is where matters. They are seeking to solve this by collating all promotions and services that each of the telcos offer onto one platform and give you the convenience of browsing through these services at any time with much detail of the terms and conditions. You as a subscriber has the opportunity to also review the various services and decide which is cool!

The team at Promolante believes it is changing the way Ghanaian telco subscribers consume the promos and services the telcos run.

“We are making it very easy to find services across all networks with detail information as well as the opportunity to tell Ghana what you think about the services one is subscribed to. Hitherto one will have to fall on friends, comb through many pages of the websites of the telcos or wait till ads on TV or radio are played again for details about a particular promo or service are known.”

Promolante is managed by Abdul-Rahim Sulemana, as CEO. He is a graduate of the University of Cape Coast with a degree in Mathematics and Statistics. He was adjudged the winner of “InnovativeGhana blogging competition organized by BloggingGhana in partnership with Google, and currently, a post-graduate studying Software Development and Entrepreneurship at Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST).

And Jesse Dela Adziakpor as Product Lead. He is a graduate of the Methodist University College Ghana with BSc Information Technology. He is an expert in web application development, graphics design etc and with in-depth knowledge in web technologies.
